This focuses on Carpentry and Cabinetmaking, giving you real-world exposure to the trade, paid work experience, and essential qualifications to help you confidently step into a career.
What You'll Gain:
- Certificate I in Construction – Your first step into the trade, combining practical skills and formal qualifications.
- Paid Learning – Earn while you learn, working Monday to Friday (38-hour weeks) over a 14-week program.
- White Card Certification – We’ll include this essential safety training as part of the program.
- 6-Week Work Experience Placement – Gain hands-on industry exposure with our quality host employers, where you'll have the opportunity to apply your skills and stand out in the field.
- Safety & Tools – Get trained on tool safety and receive Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and a tool starter kit.

Our goal is to prepare participants for full-time apprenticeships upon program completion.
You'll receive ongoing support from our dedicated Field Officers, who will mentor you throughout the program to ensure your success. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to connect with East Coast Apprenticeships and our host employers, creating pathways to future apprenticeship opportunities and continued support.
